Fall Hours and Updates - 2021

Updated: Jan 22

Looking Ahead to Fall 2021

Fall, Seasons, Change

As we look ahead towards the Fall of 2021 we're planning out childcare with family - and we're realizing will mean a shift in our hours different from what was originally planned. There may be several days a week where our availability begins at 9:30 AM and ends at 2:00 PM. To compensate for that we might add some availability on Wednesdays (or possibly 1 evening)- we will keep you posted on this. It currently appears that the schedule of availability might be:

Mondays: 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Tuesdays: 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

Wednesdays (possibly 9:30 AM to Noon)

Thursdays: 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Fridays: 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

This schedule is still tentative however, and when it is finalized we will reach out again with any updates.

Until we know more, we've blocked out Septembers dates starting at 2:00 PM and will adjust them to the new availability as soon as it becomes solidified.

If you already have a session scheduled for the afternoon/evening this Fall, such as:

  • A membership session

  • A recurring appointment

  • Other appointments scheduled in advance, then

we will let you know once our availability becomes clear if the appointment will need to be rescheduled. For now we will leave them on the schedule, and will do our best to keep them as is.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Expiration dates on Member's auto billed sessions have been updated to last even longer - These discount sessions now roll over up to 6 months, instead of expiring after 3 months. This gives you more time and opportunity for booking and enjoying your member sessions. Thank you!

--Masks Update--

Masks, spa, Massage, Massage Therapy, Covid, Safety

Please continue to wear your mask to your sessions.

Though The Commonwealth's mask order is rescinded, masks are still mandatory for all individuals on public and private transportation systems (including rideshares, livery, taxi, ferries, MBTA, Commuter Rail and transportation stations), in healthcare facilities and in other settings hosting vulnerable populations, such as congregate care settings.

A massage-specific update has yet to be provided, so we are moving forward with a somewhat conservative approach which aims to safe-guard both staff and guest health. Masks will still be required for the face-up portion of all sessions. During this portion of the session both guest and therapist are in close proximity and thus there is a greater risk of airborne cold and virus transmissions (especially during face-up neck/shoulder work where the therapist is seated at the head of the table). It is our goal to provide exceptional sessions while staying vigilant to safeguard the health of guests and staff. Thank you!

***Please Arrive 10 Minutes Early***

clock, time, schedule, appointment, early, massage

Why do I need to arrive early?

Great question! When a guest books their session online, this reserves the hands-on portion of their visit for that block of time. When a client arrives exactly on or after that time, some hands-on time will inevitably be lost to:

  • Filling out the intake form (if it's the first visit and the intake was not completed online).

  • Discussing needs for this particular visit with the therapist.

  • Getting on the table while the therapist goes to wash their hands.

Though a small amount of time is reserved between sessions, during this time the therapist must:

  • Disinfect and clean thoroughly.

  • Reset the treatment table, disinfect and reset any hot stones or massage cups used.

  • Check notes and prepare for the next guest.

  • Use the restroom if needed.

  • Maybe grab an apple or granola bar if time allows.

We hope this information helps, and thank you for your assistance and understanding.
